Tuition Assistance & Why It Matters

Since its founding in 1963, The Brandeis School of San Francisco has been built on a simple but powerful belief: a strong Jewish community takes care of one another.

That belief comes to life through our Tuition Assistance Program, the heart of tonight’s celebration.

This year, Brandeis has awarded more than $4.9 million in tuition assistance, supporting nearly 47% of our students. These are classmates, teammates, and friends. They are students and families whose presence enriches our classrooms, deepens our conversations, and strengthens our community.

Tuition assistance ensures that a Brandeis education remains accessible to families who share our mission and values. It allows our school to reflect the broad range of socio-economic backgrounds that make our Jewish community vibrant and reflective of the Jewish community of the Bay Area.

At Brandeis, we believe deeply in the Jewish value of Kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh, all of us are responsible for one another. Because of this commitment, every child who belongs in this community has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive at our school.

The funds raised for the spring fundraiser sustain this tradition by supporting the Tuition Assistance Program.

When you support tuition assistance, you are strengthening the entire Brandeis community. Together, we ensure that the doors of Brandeis remain open to every mission-aligned student, today and for generations to come.
